She got her start in writing as early as high school and has been published in poetry anthologies and freelance erotica . Cecile is part of a wonderfully supportive critique group lovingly referred to as the Round Robbins. Cecile believes that everything in life that can be accomplished should and has endeavored to live up to this whether it was starting a flat track Roller Derby league or writing the next great romance novel.

Adrian was stunned at the crush of bodies inside the room—there didn’t seem to be enough space left to breathe. The logistics committee didn’t appear to have done their job very well. Having gone to more than his share of company events, he realized that Shelli’s company must have invited their suppliers and valued customers as well as their staff, and the numbers had gone out of control. He was just wondering, if maybe, they should go home and watch National Geographic instead, when several people right in front of them shrieked with laughter and pointed above their heads. "Kiss, kiss, kiss!"
He looked straight up and, lo and behold. Mistletoe. Bunches of it decorating the whole doorframe, an unexpected trap for the unwary. He stared at them, nonplussed and wondered why there should be mistletoe when it wasn’t even Christmas. Someone’s idea of a bad joke, or an innovative ice breaker to get everyone in the party mood.
Several people right in front of them shrieked with laughter and pointed above their heads. "Kiss, kiss, kiss!"
"Oh," Shelli glanced first at her colleagues, then up at the mistletoe, dismayed, then spread her hands helplessly, "but they’re my—"
The distress on her face registered in his mind simultaneously with one other thing. If she admitted they were only friends, then all was lost. He and Ethan might as well have not come. He spun her toward him before she could complete her sentence. "Give in gracefully, Shell," he said, laughing, playacting for the benefit of their audience. "It’s tradition." He slid his hands from her shoulders up to cup her head and brought her inexorably closer. Her head, her entire body strained away from him and her eyes communicated mute panic. "You stupid fool," he hissed near her mouth, willing her to relax, to trust him. "Don’t give the game away, not when we’ve come this far. And it’s just a kiss. We might have to play it up to make it look real…"
His lips brushed hers, once, twice. He had meant for it to end there but her lips were so soft, so sweet, so intoxicating, he just had to taste them again. He was drawn in and unable to pull himself away. He forgot that they had an audience. He forgot that he’d suggested for them to work at making the kiss look real, because it was suddenly all too real…
He pressed his mouth more fully against hers and nibbled and licked and begged for a taste of the rich flavors he was sure she was keeping from him in her mouth.

Erin McRae is a queer writer based in New York and Washington, DC. She is a researcher, statistician, and novelist.
She has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Toronto (Toronto, Canada) and a master’s degree in International Affairs from American University (Washington, DC).
Together with Racheline Maltese she founded Avian30, a literary collective dedicated to stories with magical and sexual realism. She is a hybrid author. She and Racheline Maltese have self-published titles (A Queen From the North, 2017; The Art of Three, 2017, and the Love in Los Angeles series, which was originally published by Torquere Press in 2014 and is being re-released in 2017). Racheline Maltese can fly a plane, sail a boat, and ride a horse, but has no idea how to drive a car. With Erin McRae she writes romance about fame and public life. She is also a producer and writer on Tremontaine, Serial Box Publishing's adventure of manners, swordplay, and chocolate that's a prequel to Ellen Kushner's gay lit classic, Swordspoint.
Racheline's training includes a journalism degree from The George Washington University, as well as acting and directing coursework at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School (New York City) and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (Sydney, Australia).
Her fiction, non-fiction and poetry has appeared in numerous outlets, and she is a regular speaker on pop-culture topics at fan and academic conferences. Racheline also voiced Desire and Delirium in a benefit performance of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman for the CBLDF.

No parent wants their child’s safety to be comprised online or in any other way. Between hackers, online predators, cyberbullying and other web safety issues, it is more important now than ever to remind your kids to stay safe online. It can also be hard if you don’t know what steps to take to make sure they increase their internet security.
Compiled for you is a list of the most important things you should be asking your kids to do to improve their safety and your sanity. These topics are relevant for kids of all ages who have access to the internet.
“Once you post something online, you can’t take it back”
Have a regular conversation with you kids about how once they post something, whether it is a photo, video, or statement that it will live on the internet forever.
Expand on the conversation by explaining that many employers and college recruiters often check out social media platforms like Facebook to see how professional a candidate is.
Remind your child to only post content online that won’t damage their reputation; you can always tell them something along the lines, “don’t be posting anything you wouldn’t want me to see or read.”
They may take it more seriously if you explain that just because they remove something they post online doesn’t mean that somebody else hasn’t already made a copy or posted it somewhere else.
“Make sure your privacy settings allow only close friends and family to see your information”
Check-in with your kids to make sure their privacy settings are set on all social media accounts so that only close friends and family members can see their information and what they post. While privacy settings can’t guarantee safety online, they are a great start. If they aren’t sure how, have them check out the account settings section of any platforms they use.
“Have you changed your password lately and is it easy to guess?”
To avoid having any of your child’s online accounts hacked, make sure that they are changing their password regularly and choosing passwords that are not easy to guess. Tell them to choose something that is easy for them to remember, but doesn’t use any of their personal information. Explain that similar to their locker number, passwords are private and should not be shared with anyone.
